F1 Vietnam Grand Prix 2020 Competition (the “Prize Draw”)
Terms and Conditions
1. The promoter of this Prize Draw is Formula One Digital Media Limited registered business address at No 2 St James’s Market, SW1Y 4AH London (“the Promoter”). The Prizes (as described below) are provided by the Promoter.
2. This Prize Draw is open to residents with a valid passport aged 16 and over of the EU, USA and other territories where its operation and the prizes are permitted. The Prize Draw is void where operating it would be prohibited by law.
3. The Prize Draw is not open to (a) employees, contractors or agents of the Promoter, their group companies or family members, freelance contributors, anyone else connected to the Prize Draw and their family members; or (b) public officials (as defined by applicable laws, statutes and regulations relating to bribery and corruption, including but not limited to the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 and the UK Bribery Act 2010) and anyone connected to them.
4. By entering the Prize Draw you are accepting these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). These Terms and Conditions shall be effective for all entries into the Prize Draw and shall supersede and extinguish any other terms and conditions in respect of the Prize Draw.
5. For the avoidance of doubt, the terms of use of formula1.com shall apply to your use of formula1.com.
6. HOW TO ENTER
6.1 The competition will run from 7:00am 7 November 2018 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59pm 31 May 2019 (the "Closing Date") inclusive. Entries received outside this time period will be void and will not be eligible to win any prize.
6.2 In order to enter the Prize Draw, participants must visit the webpage https://formula1.tell-us-what-you-think.com/s3/2020VietnamGP and fill out their full name, email address, date of birth and country of residence.
6.3 The winner of the Prize Draw will be contacted via email by midnight on 5 June 2019. All participants must provide a valid email address at the time of submitting the required details. Any entry received without a valid email address will be void and the relevant participant will not be eligible to win any prize.
6.4 In entering the Prize Draw, participants confirm that they are eligible to do so. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
6.5 No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw, and purchase of any other item does not enhance your chance of winning.

6.7 Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning survey submission.
6.8 The Promoter accept no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.
7. PRIZES
7.1 The winner shall receive the following prizes:
a) two (2) three-day general admission tickets (one ticket being for the winner and one for their companion, or if applicable, their parent or guardian) for the FORMULA 1 2020 VIETNAM GRAND PRIX (“the Event”);
b) hotel accommodation for two (2) (based on sharing/twin occupancy) for 4 nights from the Thursday immediately prior to the commencement of the Event to the Monday immediately following the conclusion of the Event;
c) return economy flights for two (2) within a reasonable distance from the winner’s residential address. Flights will arrive in Vietnam on the Thursday immediately prior to the commencement of the Event and will depart Vietnam the Monday immediately following the conclusion of the Event;
d) transport to and from the airport, station or port to the hotel; and
e) transport to and from the hotel to the Vietnam Grand Prix Circuit (“the Circuit”).
7.2) The prizes listed above do not include any associated costs or expenses including, insurance, food and drink, spending money, or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner(s). Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the winner and companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
7.3) Additionally, the winner is solely responsible for:
a) all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including taxes imposed on his/her income (including in relation to the receipt of the reward, if applicable); and
b) all other travel arrangements including procurement of visas and any inoculations.
7.4 The approximate retail value for the Prizes are as follows:
a) two (2) three-day tickets for the Event approximately valued at £100 per ticket; and
b) hotel accommodation, flights and transfer (as defined above in 7.1b) to e)) value will vary according to flights and accommodation available at the time of booking.
7.5 Prize travel and accommodation will be provided and arranged by the Promoter and is subject to price and availability at the time of booking.
8. WINNER
8.1 There shall be only one winner and the winner will be selected by way of a random draw from all entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
8.2 If the winner does not make the Promoter aware that they are the winner within 7 days of their win by responding to the winning email, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
8.3 If the winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
8.4 The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered in to.
8.5 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
8.6 Any winner that is below the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in order to collect the Prize.
9. The winner consents to the use by the Promoter, (and their related companies), both before and after the closing date of the Prize Draw for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, still and moving images and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by the Promoter, and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Prize Draw, all entrants consent to the same.
10. Residents of Tennessee, any other U.S. state or other jurisdiction in which it is unlawful to require agreement to a perpetual publicity release as a condition of winning a prize shall not be bound by paragraph 9 to the extent it is lawful.
11. The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the Prize Draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
12. The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering this Prize Draw as described in its privacy policy, which can be found at https://f1store.formula1.com/stores/f1/en/help?helpSection=termsAndConditions, in accordance with data protection legislation and applicable law. By entering the Prize Draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in accordance with the privacy policy below, including to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, and for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. The information supplied by you in the associated survey form will be used as described on the survey form.
13. Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from any person other than the Promoter, your details may be passed to such person(s) and organisation(s) that you have consented to receiving marketing communications from.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the prize. The Promoter further disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Draw save to the extent that (i) death or personal injury is caused by the Promoter’s negligence; (ii) such liability arises from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) for any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.
15. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify, discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Prize Draw with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). In the event that the Promoter permanently discontinues the Prize Draw pursuant to this paragraph, the entrants in the Prize Draw shall be released from their obligations to the Promoter under these Terms and Conditions.
16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Prize Draw where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
17. The Prize Draw and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the Prize Draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
